Let me tell you why I created this site . . . I believe that when we look at our World through a different lens — see it in a new way — there can be huge benefits. Let me throw a few of those benefits out here right now.
Benefit #1: Reducing the information overwhelm. There is sooooo much mind-clutter today it’s getting hard to think effectively. To steal a line from Dan Roam we are sinking in the Blah, Blah, Blahs.

We want less information. Easy to absorb information. Information we can grasp in a glance so we can learn, lead and find opportunities faster. Me, you, they want out of the Blah, Blah, Blahs. And when we see our World differently that can happen.

Benefit #2: Simplifying communication. People want simple communication — the simpler the better. But we are not getting it.

When you are able to view the world through a different lens ways to communicate more simply and effectively become apparent.
Benefit #3: Finding things, sometimes cool, life changing things. So much is missed in our World because we are blinded by our hustle, our distractions, our race to . . . who knows where?
There’s a lot of cool-stuff out there in our lives but to find it we often have to look . . . not harder but look differently. And because I’ve found sooo much cool-stuff when I looked at my world differently I thought I’d share . How does it happen? I use simple images that look like they were drawn by people to pull back the curtain on our crazy-nutso World.

I believe that simple images can be a helpful lens to view our World differently and get those benefits above and many more.
About Me
I’m Mike and I’m the main stick figure guy here. I’m married with two kids and two crazy cats. I’m blessed that for the past many years I’ve been coaching and teaching at a great small liberal arts college. I am by no way an expert artist. In fact I believe that my art skills are right on par with all the regular guys and gals who grab a pencil to help them find a solution. But I have a passion for figuring things out and distilling confusion down to clarity and have been using simple images to that end for years. Here’s where I’ve come from . . .

To sum up ... Life is a journey and we should enjoy the ride because who knows where the final destination will take us. Along the road a little clarity can help.
Make a ruckus. - Mike
